I have used your method for one or two photos, but most email services don't allow much in the way of file size for attachments, making this method very tedious and time consuming, especially when I need to move thousands of burst-related photos.
Apr 7, PM. And it seems that upload of the bursts to iCloud was possible in earlier versions of iOS, option for that existed in menu, there are plenty tutorials how to do that, including this forum. Any particular reason to exclude these photos? After all it allows to sell more storage space on iCloud Apr 15, AM. Fully agree with one exception: I do need to use iCloud for that ; Why big class of photos is totally excluded from backup - beyond my understanding.
